LIVE: HOUSTON'S HISTORIC SIXTH WARD
While in Houston, I took the opportunity to snap some shots of the neighborhood in which my mama lives. It is one of the oldest in the city and it's absolutely beautiful. It sits just outside of downtown and directly next to the historic Glenwood Cemetery…Howard Hughes is buried there. The neighborhood is relatively small and the historic society maintains the integrity of the architecture within the community. The homes speak for themselves…

LIVE: TAYLOR BRASHEARS
A couple of weeks ago for Wardrobe Wednesday, we introduced Taylor Brashears. This week VOX+V takes you in to her adorable East Nashville home. These photos were especially fun to work with because of all the wonderful color and light within...a bachelorette's little dream home.

LIVE: GILL LANDRY
One of the first, and most interesting, people I met upon arriving here in Nashville was this here man, Gill Landry. Gill is a multi instrumentalist and vocalist who performs as a solo artist, as well with Old Crow Medicine Show. I had never been to his Belmont home when I asked him if I may have the privilege of snapping a few shots but I had always had a feeling it would be amazing...luckily, it was! Upon entering the foyer I was immediately taken back to the last Houston home I lived in alone. This is the one that is included on Robert's Cemetery Song. Gill greeted us and the first thing I was drawn to was the working Victrola Credenza. He cranked it a few times and away it went churning out beautiful old timey tunes. It was time to begin.

LIVE: ELLIS
I spent all day cleaning so that I could post just a few glimpses of our new home here in Nashville. The house is basically a 4/2 two-story brick cottage built in 1940. Hardwood floors, tall ceilings, glass door knobs with working skeleton keys and my favorite part....a big basement with stone walls! We turned the basement in to a guest area/movie projector room complete with pallet days beds and netflix! The following photos are of some of my favorite things...
